15psi seems pretty reasonable for stock turbos, detonation at 16 psi is also pretty reasonable. I don't know what octane the gas is in your state, but in Ca. we have 91 octane and most cars won't run over 13-14psi (some even less) without detonating. I can only run 15-16 psi on sport 500s with fuel tuning. Get yourself a boost controller and in the mean time back the timing off a couple of degrees. Mark
